K8S

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Recently, I just got a cheap VPS with this specs:
- OS: Debian 13 (Trixie)
- RAM: 2 GB
- CPU: 2 Core
At first, I deployed Dokploy and managed Whatsapp Bot, a static Astro Website, Mazanoke, Umami analytics, and Forgejo. See the post in Linkedin. But then I’m thinking to switch to k8s.
Is it overengineering? Actually yes. But as long as it’s a personal VPS and for learning-purpose, why not.
For the kernel, I replace the Psycachy kernel with Xanmod 7.0.14. After that, I’m messing around w/k8s in the VPS. I deployed 3 apps:
- Goatcounter (Self hosted analytics).
- 1 Static Astro Website.
- Mazanoke (Self-hosted image compression service)
For analytics stuff, initally I’m using Umami. But then I’m looking something different, and finally found Goatcounter.
This note will updated regularly if there are any update with my deployed apps. Things to do next:
- Deploy a Whatsmeow bot.
