About the project
AhsanXpress is a logistics service founded in Bandung, built around a sharia-oriented delivery ecosystem that connects sellers with courier partners. The platform supports the delivery workflow across customer orders, courier pickups and deliveries, and admin operations. While I worked at PT Shidiq Membangun Indonesia, our team maintained the inherited applications and expanded the platform with instant delivery, customer registration, and an affiliate service.
My responsibilities
- Refactored parts of the Go backend into a modular monolith with clearer module boundaries.
- Set up Swagger documentation for more than 360 existing API routes.
- Maintained and improved Next.js applications for customers, couriers, and administrators.
- Built parts of the instant-delivery flow, including distance-based fee estimates with Google Maps, live courier tracking over WebSockets, and driver notifications.
- Implemented related customer and admin workflows for cash and internal-wallet payments, courier registration and approval, and instant-order reporting.
- Fixed CI/CD issues blocking deployments and improved the Go container build with a multi-stage setup.
- Compressed stored images, reducing S3 usage from around 100 GB to 5 GB.
These responsibilities covered backend structure, customer-facing features, operations, and delivery reliability while the inherited platform remained in active development.
Stack
Go, PostgreSQL, Next.js, Redis, Google Maps, WebSockets, and Docker.
